Eyvör NCC-IS Cybersecurity
The National Coordination Centre in Iceland (NCC-IS), Eyvör, awards a cybersecurity grant to support cybersecurity projects in Iceland.
Grants are intended to support the updating and uptake of new security solutions and their design among Icelandic companies and government agencies.
Special emphasis is given to knowledge acquisition, and the uptake of the latest cybersecurity solutions among small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs). In addition there is a view toward cooperation between the state and private companies as outlined in the government cybersecurity policy statement Netöryggisstefna Íslands 2022 – 2037 (in Icelandic).
Description of the grants and application
Applications are evaluated according to roles and emphases at any given time, and are directed toward special aim number 3 in the Digital Europe 2021-2022 work program. This aim concerns ensuring wide-ranging uptake and knowledge of cybersecurity measures within European countries.
The cybersecurity grant is awarded by the National Coordination Centre in Iceland (NCC-IS), Eyvör; Rannís coordinates grant activities. Half the grant is funded by the Digital Europe initiative, and the other half by the Icelandic government.
All applications must be submitted electronically through the Rannís application portal.
