Payments and reporting
If a grant is awarded, a written agreement is made between Rannís and the grantee within one month of the grant being awarded.
The grant is paid in two installments and deposited into the bank account of the respective grantee: Upon signing the grant agreement, 80% of the grant is paid immediately, and 20% after the electronic final report on the implementation of the project and the use of the grant has been submitted to the board, and a presentation has been held where the main results of the project are presented. However, it is permitted to pay the grant in a single installment if the total amount is less than ISK 1 million.
Reporting
The final report must be submitted to Rannís no later than August 20 2026. It is a summary of the project and its main results and outcomes. The report is available in the electronic application system of Rannís.
To receive the final payment, grantees are required to present the main results of the project at a special presentation in September each year. Eyvör NCC-IS also considers it desirable that the grantee, for example, presents the project they have received a grant for on their website.
