Educational Materials Developement Fund

Grants are available for the development, production and publication of educational materials for preschools, compulsory schools and upper secondary schools.

The Fund offers two types of grants:

• Development Grant of up to ISK 3 million.

• Development and Publication Grant of up to ISK 6 million.

Applications for a Development and Publication Grant must also meet the following requirements:

• The authors must demonstrate appropriate qualifications and expertise.

• A written commitment from an established publisher to publish the educational materials must be provided.

• A detailed and realistic project work plan must be submitted.

• A statement describing the purpose of the educational materials and their intended use in schools must be included.

The project statement, work plan and publisher's commitment must be submitted as attachments to the application.

Applications may be submitted by:

• Teachers.

• Authors of educational materials.

• Independent scholars.

• Publishing companies.
