Recommendations for applicants

Project budget – total project costs and financing

When preparing the project budget, applicants should include the total project costs and all sources of financing.

  • The applicant's own contribution may be provided in the form of in-kind work.

  • The difference between the total project costs and the confirmed financing constitutes the amount of funding requested from the Educational Materials Development Fund.

  • Applicants must specify the financing that will complement the grant requested from the Educational Materials Development Fund.

  • If funding has been requested from, or awarded by, other sources for the same project, this must be declared in the application.
