Please note that the information on this page pertains to the disability and rehabilitation pension system that was in effect until August 31, 2025. Applicants from September 1, 2025, are assessed according to the new system, while those who had a valid assessment in the old system until at least August 31, 2025, were automatically transferred to the new system.

The first application must be accompanied by:
a medical certificate for the application for disability assessment,
a questionnaire on impairment, which is completed on My pages,
confirmation from the pension fund that payments have been applied for or that there is no right to receive payments;
,
information on the use of a tax card,
If you were in rehab, you must also hand in:
a statement by the doctor or rehabilitation provider that rehabilitation is complete;
or
service termination report from e.g. Virk.
