To obtain a firearms licence, you need:
A medical certificate for a firearms licence from a general practitioner.
Two co-defendants over 20 years old.
To apply for a permit from the police and submit documents.
To pass a test in a course on handling firearms.
In the application process, the police must be allowed to examine criminal records.
Police checks case files and criminal record when processing an application.
Validity period
Permits are valid for a maximum of 5 years.
