Land and Forest appoints a special project manager to carry out the project.

The role of the project manager is to:

• receive, review, evaluate and allocate plants

• to educate and advise the recipients

• monitors the progress of projects, receives implementation reports

• verify that the work has been carried out and that the rules of the project have been followed

The project managers' proposals for the allocation of each year are approved by Land and forest Iceland.
