People with mobility impairments who need a car for work, school, regular rehabilitation or health care can apply for grants and compensation to buy or drive a car.

• grant for the purchase of a specially equipped vehicle or a specially equipped clean electric vehicle.

Different conditions must be met in order to be entitled to compensation, a grant or a subsidy for the purchase of a specially equipped vehicle. You can obtain more information about the conditions of each category below.

People with reduced mobility and parents of children with reduced mobility may be entitled to:

• compensation for driving a pensioner's car

• compensation for the purchase of a car,

• grant to buy a car that does not need major changes,

Payment arrangements

Once an application is approved and the purchase agreement or an account has been submitted for the car purchase, the payment is made as soon as possible to the bank account registered on My pages.
