The police will examine the notification.
It depends on what you reported how the police respond. The police will only contact you if they need more information.
Collision with no injuries
If you reported a crash where no one was injured, it is unlikely that the police will contact you.
Copy of the report for insurance purposes
Once the notification has been sent, you will receive a copy that can be taken with you to the insurance company.
