Green steps Communication centre

The Communication Center participates in the Green Steps Program for public institutions. The program aims to reduce the negative environmental impact of the institutions and promote the environmental awareness of employees.

  • We encourage our customers to choose environmentally friendly means of transport when they come to us at Grensásvegur 9. We are on the 3rd floor.

  • Parking for people with reduced mobility is in front of the building at the entrance to the Employment Agency, which is in the same building. An elevator is available in the building.

  • Bicycle racks are in front of the building. If needed, tools and a bicycle pump can be borrowed from the Communication Center.

  • The bus stops on Grensásvegur are very close to the Communication Centre building. These stops are serverd by buses nr 2, 14, and 17 (9th February 2024)

  • Free parking is available in front of the main entrance.

  • We also encourage electronic communication instead of visits and remote meetings are a possibility.
