Landspítali and the School of Health Sciences (Heilbrigðisvísindasvið) at the University of Iceland have merged their scientific conferences into one major event aimed at strengthening collaboration, connections, and the visibility of research.

The new conference, Science in springtime (Vísindi á vordögum), will be held on April 8–9, 2026 at Hilton Nordica.
The event brings together researchers, specialists, teachers, students, company representatives, and the general public to present and discuss the latest research and developments in life and health sciences in Iceland.

Participation is open to everyone and free of charge.
