Remote Access to Subscription Resources
To access the electronic resources of the Health Sciences Library off site (outside the hospital and University of Iceland network), remote access is required. Staff of Landspítali University Hospital, as well as students and staff of the University of Iceland’s School of Health Sciences, may apply for access.
Eligibility
Access is available to users with a valid institutional email address.(e.g. @landspitali.is, netfang@lsh.is or @hi.is).
Applying for Access
Apply for remote access via OpenAthens by completing the registration form
A username is assigned for login; an email address may also be used. Users create their own password, which should be kept secure and not shared.
Following registration, an activation email will be sent. Activate your account by using the link provided, after which you may log into your OpenAthens account.
Users may log in using either their username or email address, together with their password.
Please select the organisation “Landspitalinn Med Library” when logging in.
