Landspitali breast clinic
Book a breast screening appointment
If you have received an invitation letter for breast screening, you can book an appointment in the following ways:
Please note that everyone is welcome to attend screening at the Breast Center in Reykjavík and in Akureyri, regardless of where they live.
Breast screening is intended for women who do not have any breast symptoms. If you have noticed any changes or symptoms in your breasts, we recommend contacting primary care by calling 1700. If you are registered with a privately operated primary care centre (Kirkjusandur, Höfði, Urðarhvarf or Salahverfi), contact your primary care centre directly. A nurse will assess your symptoms and determine whether further examination is needed.
