Breast screening is an examination of breasts for asymptomatic women

Pop in for a screening - We encourage everyone who has received an invitation letter for screening to book an appointment. Screening is offered by age:

• 40 to 69 years old, receive an invitation every two years

• 70 to 74 years old, receive an invitation every three years

• Those older than 74 do not receive an invitation letter but are welcome for screening and can contact their general practitioner or the Breast Center to book an appointment.
