IRIS (Icelandic Research Information System) and Open Access
IRIS (Icelandic Research Information System)
IRIS (Icelandic Research Information System) is a collaborative initiative between Icelandic universities and research institutions. It provides information on research, publications, and the research activities of individual researchers, institutions, and academic fields.
Landspítali research outputs can be accessed via IRIS.
IRIS has replaced Hirslan, which catalogued Landspitali staff from 2005 onwards. IRIS is currently under development and is operated by the National and University Library of Iceland.
Landspítali Researchers in IRIS
An information specialist at the Landspítali and University of Iceland Health Sciences Library is responsible for registering newly published scientific articles by Landspítali researchers.
Researchers may request access to their individual profiles in order to upload previous publications, research outputs, or media content.
A list of registered Landspítali researchers is available in IRIS.
Enquiries may be directed to bokasafn@landspitali.is.
