IRIS (Icelandic Research Information System)
IRIS (Icelandic Research Information System) is a collaborative project between Icelandic universities and research institutions. It provides information about research, publications, and the research activity of scholars, institutions, and academic fields.

IRIS replaces Hirslan, which collected Landspitali staff publications since 2005. The system is under development and operated by the National and University Library of Iceland.

An information specialist at the LSH and University of Iceland Health Sciences Library is responsible for registering new scientific articles published by Landspítali researchers.
Researchers can gain access to their own pages to upload older articles, research, or media content.
