Role of the Landspítali and University of Iceland Health Sciences Library

To be a clinical and academic library that serves the staff of Landspítali and the students and teachers of the University of Iceland's School of Health Sciences.

Goals of the Library

To provide the hospital staff, students, and teachers at the University of Iceland's School of Health Sciences with:

• access to scientific and clinical information and knowledge for use in study, work, and teaching

• training in the use of library resources.

The library is open to everyone who wishes to use its collection, which is mostly electronic.
