A course for children with anxiety in Egilsstaðir

The Health Care Centre in Egilsstaðir will offer a course for parents of 5 - 12 year old children who have anxiety. The aim of the course is to teach parents about methods of cognitive behavioral therapy and to encourage parents to use the methods with their child to work on anxiety, strengthen courage and self-confidence. Common anxiety symptoms that children show are fear of sleeping alone, walking alone, fear of dogs or fear of something happening to their parents. The course will start on Wednesday 23 October 2024, 13:00 - 15:00 in Giljasal in the Health Care Centre in Egilsstaðir.

The health care center in Neskaupsstaður will offer a course for parents of 5 - 12 year old children who have anxiety. Common anxiety symptoms that children show are fear of sleeping alone, walking alone outside, fear of dogs or fear of something happening to their parents. The course starts on Thursday 17.10.24 at 13:00 - 15:00 in the hall on the 3rd floor of the Hospital in Neskaupsstaður.
