Equality Plan

An equality plan is a structured plan that companies or institutions put in place to ensure equal status and opportunities for all employees.
It defines goals and actions to promote:

  • Equal pay

  • Equality in recruitment

  • Career development

  • A better working environment

  • Prevention of discrimination and harassment

The plan helps workplaces build a fair, safe, and professional working environment.

To obtain equal pay certification or equal pay confirmation, an approved equality plan from the Directorate of Equality is required first.

It is important to properly introduce the plan to all employees.
