My Pages at Ísland.is are a central service portal that government agencies can use to deliver data and services to individuals and legal entities in a simple way.
All individuals and legal entities with an Icelandic ID number can automatically access My Pages via Ísland.is. There is no need to apply for access specifically.
All individuals and legal entities with an Icelandic ID number who have applied for an electronic identity card.
On My Pages, individuals and legal entities can securely access data from the government in one place.
Not yet, but My Pages are growing steadily over time with more government agencies joining in.
To access My Pages, individuals and legal entities need to log in using electronic ID. This ensures that the person only sees their own data or the data they have a mandate to view.
You can get electronic ID cards from mobile phone companies, banks and from Auðkenni.

Only Icelandic phone numbers can be registered under information on Ísland.is
You can find the companies and other authorizations you have access to on my pages by:
Logging in to My Pages using your personal electronic ID.
Select your name in the upper-right corner. From there, select switch user where you will see an overview of all the authorizations you have.
If your company does not appear automatically, a power of attorney registration is missing. In that case, you need to contact the Company registration of the IcelandicrRevenue and customs via email at fyrirtaekjaskra@skatturinn.is..
This error occurs when no user is found associated with the phone number or ID number you are using as an authentication method.
If the user was previously active, there are a few possible explanations:
The electronic ID has expired
The electronic ID has been revoked due to too many incorrect PIN entries
The electronic ID has been revoked due to SIM-card changes/phone change
The user needs to visit a registration office for electronic IDs with a valid physical ID (driver’s license or passport, please note that digital IDs are not accepted) and apply for a new electronic ID.

Please note that if you have a valid Icelandic passport, you can complete the self-service registration process from anywhere and obtain your electronic ID in the Auðkenni app. Instructions can be found here.
Upon death, access to the person's My pages is closed, so it is not possible to grant a power of attorney to my pages for the estate of the deceased. If you need documents, you will need to contact the relevant institutions directly and present the power of attorney for the estate to them.
The process off bringing all grades from Iceland's education system to one place is underway. Foreign schools are not a part of this project.
To access My pages on Ísland.is you need electronic ID, you can apply for them at one of Auðkenni's service point. If you are an Icelandic passport holder then you can apply through self service.
If you are unable to register for electronic ID then you need to be in direct contact with the institutions that you need documents from.
You can see which institution sent you documents in the email notification you received - "XXX hefur sent þér nýtt skjal í pósthólfið þitt á Ísland.is" - where XXX signifies the institution.
