How do I order a VAT license plate on a car/vehicle?
If the vehicle has a public license plate, you must contact the Icelandic Transport Authority to order a VAT number. If the vehicle already has a VAT number, you can order new plates here:https://island.is/en/ordering-of-registration-plates
