Where do I turn when the license plates have been cut off my car?
For location information, contact the Icelandic Transport Authority at 480-6000. The general rule is that the obstacles that led to the stripping of the plates need to be rectified. If the license plate was cut off due to unattended inspection, the vehicle must be brought for inspection before the plates are returned.
