If your residence permit card is lost, you need to fill in the form Lost or stolen residence permit card to report it formally.

You can bring the form, signed and filled out, to the reception in Dalvegur 18, put it in the dropbox in the lobby or send it by e-mail to utl@utl.is.

You need to pay ISK 8000 for the renewal of the card. If more than 6 months have passed since the photo on the old card was taken, you will need to book a photo appointment for the new card.
