My photo has already been taken, why do I need a new photo appointment?
Each photo can only be used for one residence permit card. If you are applying for a renewal or a new residence permit, for example a permanent residence permit, a new photo is needed for a new residence permit card.
The photo may not be older than 6 months when a residence permit card is issued. If your application has been in process for more than 6 months, you may need a new photo appointment.
