Old age pension
Holiday and December supplements
The holiday supplement is paid annually on 1 July and the December supplement on 1 December. Both supplements are paid together with the monthly allowance to TR's customers.
The supplement is determined each year in the regulation on holiday and December supplements. Of that amount, 40% is paid as a holiday supplement and 60% as a December supplement. The allowance is based on the number of months during the year in which the person received an old-age pension. Those who receive half an old-age pension receive a corresponding half of the supplement.
The december supplement is income-related, just like other old-age pension allowance.
This year's amount is: 137.857 ISK
