Workplace Training Fund
The Fund provides grants to companies taking on students in apprenticeships or other upper secondary level studies where training is a defined part of the course.
The objective for workplace training fund or vocational training is to encourage companies and institutions to take on students undertaking workplace learning as part of their upper secondary education and enable them to complete the required workplace learning in accordance with the national curriculum guide for upper secondary schools.
Grants are awarded based on the decision regarding allocations in the annual national budget. The amount of the grants therefore depends on the budget allocations for this category and the demand.
