Hand in candidacy
It is important that candidates familiarize themselves with when and how the municipal electoral commissions accept submissions in the municipality where they intend to run.
Documents that must accompany a candidacy:
Notification of candidacy, containing information on the name of the political organization and its list letter, in accordance with the register of the Ministry of Justice.
If a political organization does not have an assigned list letter, it must request one from the municipal electoral commission.
Information on the two individuals who serve as the list’s representatives, along with their written consent.

The candidate list, accompanied by the signed consent of all candidates confirming their willingness to stand for election.

A template for submitting the candidate list on paper will also be made available shortly.
A declaration of support for the list from voters in the municipality - endorsements.
In many municipalities, it will be possible to collect endorsements electronically.
A report can be generated from the endorsement system and submitted with the candidacy, or it may be indicated that endorsements were collected electronically.
If endorsements are collected on paper, the original documents must be submitted to the municipal electoral commission.
Candidates are encouraged to number each page and enter the supporters’ ID numbers into the electronic endorsement system, where applicable, to facilitate review.
