Municipal elections 2026
Municipal elections will be held on 16 May 2026
Voting will take place in each municipality.
April 10th is the deadline for candidacy.
April 17th is the start of early voting.
May 16th is election day.
Endorsement collection
In many municipalities the collection of endorsement for candidacy will be electronic. It will be opened in March.
Submission of candidate lists
Candidates must submit their candidacy and candidacy documents to the local election commission.
