Submitting a complaint
The consumer can request a ruling from the Complaints board for goods and services due to a dispute arising from contracts regarding purchase of goods or services.
You can find information about the jurisdiction and authority of the complaints board and some dismissal reasons here.
Complaint and documents should be submitted via the Board's web portal. Please log in to the portal and choose "New complaint".
The procedure is electronic. However, a complaint can be sent to the Board by e-mail or by letter. It is possible to send a complaint to the Board in Icelandic or English.
