In the event of the death of the owner of a firearm, it must be disposed of immediately.
A firearm may only be registered to a person who has a valid license to own a similar weapon.
Estate
A new custodian must be reported to the district commissioner.
When a firearm is disposed of and a new custodian is registered, a power of attorney can be issued for the estate.
