Voluntary Occurrence Reporting

Voluntary occurrence reports are classified as:

• Incident reports not falling under the classification of reportable incidents.

• Other safety information which the notifier considers may have an actual or potential impact on aviation safety.

Voluntary reporting helps to identify potential hazards that may arise from aviation safety and to contribute to preventive action.

All voluntary occurrence reports shall be sent through the ECCAIRS database.
