Advice to service providers
The Vision Centre provides education and advice to those involved in services for the visually impaired, blind and individuals with compatible visual and hearing impairments. Counsel from the Vision Centre:
Visit workplaces, schools, institutions and homes and evaluate conditions and accessibility
to propose improvements in line with individual needs
Education
Sjonstodin consultant assesses the student's situation with regard to access to learning and study materials.
Employers
Sjonstodin provides advice to workplaces, homes, social services and others that service the visually impaired and blind people.
Care givers
Sjonstodin provides advice to relatives and staff of social services and institutions such as residential homes and nursing homes.
