We are still looking for nurses – the rehabilitation unit at Kristnes will open a 7-day service

Before the end of last year, SAk issued a call to the community with the aim of staffing the rehabilitation unit so that a 7-day service could be maintained. The call has been partially successful; however, nurses are still needed. We are therefore once again issuing a call for nurses to join the rehabilitation and geriatric medicine services at SAk.
It has been decided to open 7-day capacity as of 7–8 February. A mixed unit will be opened, i.e. an outpatient/day unit, a 5-day unit, and a 7-day unit. Operations will initially be limited while work continues to fully staff the unit. There will be 18 beds to begin with, and it is not yet clear how long operations will remain limited. Updates will be provided on progress and further openings.
Exciting times lie ahead, as improvement work is underway, making this an excellent opportunity to take part in building an important service
