Rehabilitation at the Grensás Day Unit is intended for patients who require multidisciplinary training with at least two or more therapists simultaneously.

• Most patients are admitted to the Day Unit following a stay in an inpatient ward

• Others come from various hospital departments or directly from home.

Practical information

• A light lunch is available at midday. There are also vending machines in the cafeteria.

• Facilities for rest are available.

• Each patient is provided with a personal locker.

• Patients are responsible for managing their own medication.

• Patients who use specialised products, such as urinary catheters or stoma supplies, must bring these from home.

• Patients are responsible for arranging their own transport to and from Grensás. Assistance with applying for transport services can be provided by a social worker.

It is best to apply in good time, as processing of applications takes several days.
