Service
The outpatient ward performs the processing, diagnosis and treatment of patients with problems from the neck, nose and ears. Smaller operations and interventions in topical decongestation are also performed as well as re-entry and monitoring after admissions to both the day and day wards of the specialty.
Neck, nose and ear surgery outpatient department
It provides treatment for patients with problems from the neck, nose and ears. Smaller procedures and interventions in topical decongestation are also performed, as well as re-entry and monitoring after admission to both day and day care.
Outpatient plastic surgery
Children with cleft palate disorders are treated there: multidisciplinary team in cooperation with The National Hearing and Speech Institute of Iceland.
Vascular Surgery
The main focus is on patients with arterial disease. Smaller procedures and interventions in topical anaesthesia are also performed, as well as re-entry and monitoring after admissions to both day and day care.
Interview with the patient and a standard physical examination.
