Services

Care during pregnancy

Expectant parents may require hospitalization due to pregnancy-related complications. The length of stay depends on the condition and lasts until a treatment plan and follow-up care have been arranged.

Care after birth

  • Parents stay on the ward with their newborn for a few days before receiving midwife home visits.

  • Partners or support persons are welcome to stay on the ward after birth.

  • Parents of babies in the Neonatal Unit typically stay on the ward for 3-4 days after birth.

Postnatal care focus

  • Rest and adjustment to parenthood.

  • Bonding between parents and baby.

  • Establishing successful breastfeeding and newborn nutrition.

Partner/Support person

A partner or a support person are welcome to stay on the maternity ward after the birth of the baby.
We ask all patients and companions to keep the following in mind:

  • Visits are not permitted on the maternity ward.

  • Photography is not allowed on the ward.

  • Please respect the privacy of others and refrain from discussing any matters you may witness during your stay.
