The primary role of the Department of Immunology is to
be a leader in the research, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of immuno- and allergic diseases in Iceland
provide comprehensive services in the field of rheumatoid arthritis, inflammation and autoimmune diseases
The activities are divided into three main areas:
Comprehensive services research in the field of immune, allergy, autoimmune and rheumatoid disorders.
Clinical advice, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of allergic and immune disorders.
Education, training, teaching and academic research within the field of education.
