Emergency children are received from birth to 18 years of age after referral from a doctor, nurse or midwife.
Parents/guardians can go directly to the emergency department for children with acute illness.
If the child has had an accident or an incident and needs assessment from a healthcare professional, seek medical attention at Heilsugæslan or the emergency department in Fossvogur.
