Services
The Adult Transgender Team is for individuals aged 18 and older who need gender-affirming healthcare. We focus on a personalized approach for every patient.
Requesting Services
You do not need a doctor's referral to request our services. You can send a request for services directly through the Landspítali app.
After you've requested our services, you'll receive a questionnaire in the app. You must complete this questionnaire for your request to be valid.
The wait for the first appointment is usually around three months.
Once an appointment has been booked for you, you'll receive a message on Heilsuvera and can see the appointment in the Landspítali app.
A few days before your appointment, a new questionnaire will be sent to the app that you need to fill out before your first consultation.
Once an individual is registered with the team, all future communication will take place through Heilsuvera.
