The Directorate of Fisheries draws attention to the fact that spawning stop will take effect on 1st of April according to regulation on protection of cod, plaice, blue ling and catfish during spawning season.

During the ban, fishing in certain areas is restricted according to provisions of the regulation, with the aim of protecting the spawning of commercial stocks.
