Foster care
Foster care is the assignment of the care of a child to foster parents by child protection services. The reasons for this can be either the difficulties of the child, poor circumstances for the child's upbringing, or both. Foster care measures that can be considered include temporary foster care, permanent foster care, and foster care due to a significant behavioral problem.
