About the National Agency for Children and Families
The objective of the National Agency for Children and Families is to work towards the welfare of children. The main role of the agency is to provide and support services in the interests of children, and to promote the development of those services in accordance with the best knowledge and experience available. The National Agency for Children and Families serves the whole country. The following resources are under the supervision of the agency: the Barnahús children's center, treatment homes, SOC treatment, MST multi-system therapy and foster care.
