The Administration of Occupational Safety and Health oversees the implementation of the Act on the rights and obligations of foreign companies that temporarily post workers in Iceland. The employees are called “posted workers”. The Administration of Occupational Safety and Health is also in charge of the implementation of the Act on Temporary Work Agencies.
