If there is difference between the Icelandic version and the English, the Icelandic version is valid.
Here you can submit an electronic request for the registration of a seafarer on a vessel or for the de-registration of a seafarer from a vessel. Applications may be submitted for one, two, or three individuals at a time.
Processing may take up to 24 hours on working days. Requests are not processed on weekends or public holidays.

Request for the legal registration of a seafarer on a ship - 1 individual
Request for the legal registration of seafarers on ships - for 2 individuals
Request for the legal registration of seafarers on ships - for 3 individuals
De-registration:
Request to de-register a seafarer from a ship - 1 individual
Request to de-register seafarers from a ship - 2 individuals
Request to de-register seafarers from a ship - 3 individuals
Costs shall be in accordance with the Icelandic Transport Authority´s tariff.
