Access to Skútan as the legal registration system for seamen
If there is difference between the Icelandic version and the English, the Icelandic version is valid.
The ship's captain and/or the vessel´s owner/operator may legally register the crew of his/her ship on the basis of Electronic ID or Íslykill from the National Registry. The vessel´s owner/operator must fill in the form above to gain access for himself and the master.
Cost
The cost for access to Skútan to legally register is according to the Icelandic Transport Authority´s tariff.
