A renewal of a residence permit for refugees is applied for digitally online. You must have an electronic identification card to fill out your application.

You must apply for a renewal before the expiry date of the previous permit. You can see the validity period of your residence permit on your residence permit card.

If you continue to meet the requirements for a residence permit, it will be renewed. After you receive an answer you must book a photo appointment for the new residence permit card. Remember to bring an ID to prove your identity.
