The AOSH holds a construction crane course and an introductory course for smaller work machines. The introductory course provides theoretical certifications for:

• Forklifts with a lifting capacity of 10 tons and less - J class
• Tractors with equipment and smaller types of earthmoving machines (4t and under) – I class
• Basket cranes and concrete pumps – D class • Compactors – L class
• Paving machines for asphalt – M class
• Loading cranes – P class

After completing the introductory course, you can register for a practical test.

Driving schools and others that have been recognized by the AOSH hold so-called introductory courses that grant certifications in all work machine categories. They end with a written exam at the relevant driving school, which gives the right to start practical training under the guidance of a teacher.
