The application deadline is the first working day in February each year.

It is possible to apply for all types of projects in the February application round. There is also a separate application deadline on the first working day in October for preparatory visits.

Types of projects eligible for funding:

  • cooperation projects

  • cooperation networks

  • preparatory visits

  • Nordic language courses

Projects are carried out in cooperation between partners from two or more Nordplus participating countries. Nordic language course applications require cooperation between at least three partners.

The aim is to strengthen cooperation on Nordic languages and improve mutual linguistic and cultural understanding.

Who can apply?

Institutions and organisations in Nordplus participating countries may apply for funding.

Applicants must work in teaching, dissemination, or promotion of Nordic languages or Nordic minority languages. Individuals are not eligible to apply directly.
