Nordplus

The Nordic Council of Ministers’ education programme

The aim of the programme is to promote cooperation and quality in education across the Nordic and Baltic countries. Applications must align with the overall objectives of Nordplus and fit within one of its sub-programmes.

Rannís is the Nordplus National Office in Iceland. It provides information and guidance on all Nordplus sub-programmes.

Rannís also administers the Nordplus Nordic Languages sub-programme and is responsible for processing applications and disbursing grants.

Nordplus consists of five sub-programmes that cover all levels and sectors of education:

Nordplus Horizontal supports collaborative projects involving organisations from different parts of the education sector in the Nordic and Baltic countries.

Nordplus Junior supports cooperation between schools and other organisations in preschool, primary, and upper secondary education in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
