Preparatory visits provide Icelandic schools, education providers and other eligible organisations with an opportunity to develop ideas for Nordic or Nordic-Baltic cooperation. The funding enables prospective partners to meet, plan their project and prepare a joint application.

Funding for preparatory visits is available through:

• Nordplus Junior, covering preschool, primary and secondary education

• Nordplus Adult, covering adult education and lifelong learning

• Nordplus Nordic Languages

Nordplus Junior also provides funding for study visits. These visits are intended for teachers, school leaders, other educational staff and staff working for education authorities. Their purpose is to provide participants with new knowledge, experience and perspectives that respond to an identified development need within their organisation.
