Emergency care (Article 84 of the Child Protection Act) includes children being housed outside the home to ensure their safety, to detect problems or to examine their situation, e.g. due to neglect, parental incapacity or parental conduct.
The main problem is children who are not considered to need specialized treatment but can not stay in their home for a while.
If the accommodation is intended to last for more than 1 year, it is possible.
