Driving education journals

Driving education journals for general driving licences are now entirely in digital format. For other categories, driving edudation journals are on paper and the driving instructor shall deliver it to the driving student at the beginning of the teaching. Driving education journals show the process of driving from the beginning until the driving tests are completed.

A driving course book is published by the Icelandic Transportation Office and students then receive it from a driving instructor or at a driving school. Driving instructors and driving schools shall receive the books from Frumherji hf.

A digital driving study book for the first driving licence is established as soon as the licence is approved by the sheriff.
